May 2025: You can now pre-order the fifth issue of The Whitney Review of New Writing where I'll have a couple reviews – a capsule review of Steven Cannon's Groove, Bang & Jive Around and a longer analytical review revisiting Jacob Wren's Rich & Poor in a post-Luigi world of political solo acts.
The inaugural issue of slips slips, featuring a wee poem of mine, is also out and you can watch a stream of the launch party here.
Finally, I've a nasty micro out with Animal Blood Magazine, The Charge. Managed to squeeze a very disturbing story into 251 words, mainly by relying on dialogue and carefully chosen adjectives.
March 2025: The audio version of 'The Doll's Boy' is now available to listen to on the khōréō podcast, wonderfully read by Vera Tan. Many thanks to A.C. Wise for reviewing and recommending this story over at Locus Magazine 🙏
January 2025: Happy new year! To start off 2025, I'm happy to announce that my chapbook with bedfellows will be released later in the fall. I'll update with more details as they come.
The second issue of The Vermin, featuring my essay on moshing, will have its launch on January 16 in Toronto. Deets and free tickets are available here.
'Chasing Ghosts,' an attempt to breathe new possibilities into romanticized and heavy handed notions of homeland and ethnic identity, is now available to read at The Ex-Puritan.
Copies of Biblioasis' Best Canadian Stories 2025, featuring my short story 'The Hanged Man,' are still available in bookstores. You can also pick up a copy direct from the publisher here.
