April 2024: So it seems like internet sex censorship finally caught up to me even though I've never posted nsfw pics. Tumblr terminated my account without warning - my guess is I had too many instances of "read my smut" posts - which is just as well because I was already feeling like I ought to delete everything before another AI data scraper got its grubby mitts all over my blogs. Given that my friends in sex work have all lost accounts before, I've already experienced this second hand - not just the "content" but lost contacts, liked resources and so on - it all feels pretty familiar. Who would have imagined the technology that brought us goatse and 2g1c would have ended up like this.
March 2024: In case you're in Toronto, you can now pick up The Whitney Review of New Writing #02 from Issues, featuring a quickie review I wrote for Aurora Mattia's Fifth Wound. I swear I don't work for this store, but right now, it's also carrying Weird Era #3 which has an experimental piece I wrote about erotics and cottage country.
March 2024: I've been meaning to get off Wordpress for awhile so when it was announced that Wordpress will be allowing MidJourney and OpenAI to scrape its data for training purposes, I deleted hundreds of old blog posts and relocated here. I'm not sure if I'll stay with neocities or if I'll just copy-paste this code elsewhere to a paid host but this will do for now.
